Glazed Wolfe Rub Chicken Wings

(Chris Finney)
3lbs - Chicken Wings
1/2 Cup - Reverend Marvin's Gourmet BBQ Sauce*
1/2 Cup - Honey
1/2 Cup - Wolfe Rub Original

Liberally season chicken wings with Wolfe Rub Original.  Grill indirect skin side down for 20 minutes around 350*.  While the wings are grilling combine Reverend Marvin's BBQ Sauce* and honey.  Flip the wings and grill another 20 minutes.  During the last 5 minutes cook the wings directly over the coals and baste and turn frequently to prevent burning.

Scotty's Roasted Nuts

(Scott Greenia)
4 Cups - Un-salted Nuts
4 TBS - Butter
4 TBS - Wolfe Rub Original

Put nuts and butter in a microwavable bowl and cook for 90 seconds.  Stir to coat nuts with melted butter and cook for an additional 90 seconds.  Evenly spread nuts on a cookie sheet and cook in a 300 degree oven until they begin to sizzle.  Cook for approximately 10-15 minutes until they are nice and golden.  Turn the oven off, remove the nuts and sprinkle with Wolfe Rub Original and place back into warm oven for 15 minutes.  Let cool on a wire rack, then sprinkle on remaining TBS of Wolfe Rub Original.

Award Winning Wolfe Ribs
(Larry Wolfe)

1 rack - of loin back pork ribs
1/2 Cup - Wolfe Rub Original
1/4 Cup - Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce
2 TBS Honey

Remove excess fat and membrane from the back side of the ribs.  Season liberally with Wolfe Rub Original on both sides, taking time to thoroughly rub the seasoning into the meat.  Place on the grill or smoker and cook indirect @ 235* for 3 hours using hickory or fruit wood chips for extra flavor.  Wrap in aluminum foil and cook for another 30-45 minutes, until you see the meat start to pull back from the ends of the bones.  Turn the heat up to 300* and place the ribs on the grill meat side down and baste with BBQ sauce and honey combo.  After 15 minutes, flip and baste the meat side and cook for an additional 15 minutes or until ribs are tender.

Foolproof Steak's

1 lb - Porterhouse or Ribeye Steak
3 TBS - Wolfe Rub Bold

Sprinkle Wolfe Rub Bold liberally onto both sides of steak and let sit in the refridgerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.  Remove steak from the refridgerator and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.  Grill over direct medium high heat until desired doneness.  Give a light sprinkling of Wolfe Rub Bold as soon as the steaks come off the grill for that little extra zing!

Captain Morgan's ABT's "Atomic Buffalo Turds"
(Jim Morgan)

10 - Large Jalapeno Peppers
8oz - Cream Cheese
1/2lb - Pulled Pork
1lb - Cheap Bacon (thinner is better)

Slice peppers length wise and scoop out the seeds and membrane with a spoon.  Thoroughly combine cream cheese and pulled pork together.  Fill each pepper half with enough of the mixture to completely fill pepper and give them a light dusting of Wolfe Rub Original.  Wrap each pepper with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed.  Give another light dusting of Wolfe Rub Original and grill or smoke until bacon is rendered and crisp.  You want to cook these slow to soften and sweeten the peppers.  This recipe may need to be doubled in many cases, because they will not last long!

Drunken Chicken

1 - 3 to 5lb chicken
1 - 12oz can of beer
1/2 cup - Wolfe Rub Original
1/4 cup - Vegetable Oil

Rub the chicken inside and out with vegetable oil and generously rub the chicken inside and out and underneath the skins with 1/4 of Wolfe Rub Original.  Drink half the can of beer and pour the remaining 1/4 cup of Wolfe Rub Original into the can.  Insert the can into the cavity of the chicken and place standing up onto your grill.  Cook indirect between 325-350* until chicken is fully cooked.  Adding some wood chips to your coals will add a real nice smokey flavor to your chicken.

"Fatty"

1lb - Maple flavored breakfast sausage* roll
3 TBS - Wolfe Rub Original**

Trust me on this one!  This recipe is so simple, but very delicious!  Liberally coat the whole roll of sausage with Wolfe Rub Original.  Smoke or grill indirect at 250* until the internal temperature reaches 165*.  Let cool and slice and serve as an appetizer.  This is great by itself or served with cheese and crackers.  These will not last long, so you may want to double this recipe!

*Any breakfast sausage will work.
**For a more savory sausage choose a sage or spicy sausage and season with Wolfe Rub BOLD.

Potatoes AuWolfen

5 cans sliced potatoes
1 can cream of celery
1 can cheese soup (campbells)
1/4 cup milk
1 med sweet onion
4 TBS Wolfe Rub bold

Spray a glass pan with nonstick cooking spray, layer 2 cans of potato's on the bottom, layer
onions and sprinkle Wolfe Rub Bold, then layer the other 3 cans of potato's, onions, Wolfe Rub Bold.  In a bowl mix the soups and 1/4 cup of milk.  Spread evenly over the top and cover with foil and bake at 400* for 45 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
